Dear God, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says that if "I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in my heart that you raised Him from the dead I will be saved. For with my heart, I believe unto righteousness. And with my mouth, I confess unto salvation." Father, I believe in my heart that you so loved me that you gave me, your only begotten Son. That whosoever believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for me, that you resurrected on the third day and are seated at the right hand of the father. Jesus come into my heart, I make you Lord of my life. Jesus, you said that you will pray to the Father, and that He will give me another Helper; that He will abide in me forever The Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; you said that I know Him because He dwells in me and lives in me. Holy Spirit come into my heart. Father, I thank you for your Holy Spirit, and I thank you for your Son Jesus. Father come into my heart. A three folded cord is not easily broken. In the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. I thank you that my name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. In Jesus name, Amen.

So death, this huge abyss separating us from God, dominated the landscape from Adam to Moses. Even those who didn’t sin precisely as Adam did by disobeying a specific command of God still had to experience this termination of life, this separation from God. But Adam, who got us into this, also points ahead to the One who will get us out of it."
